The Community Development Authority in Dubai revealed that the program of functional water activities aimed at children with determination will help in its second season to develop the developmental skills of 18 children from the Dubai Child Development Center, indicating that the great success achieved in the first season and the measured impact on the motor, mental and social abilities. For children, he contributed to the adoption of the water activity program among the most prominent in the list of important treatment and rehabilitation programs adopted by the center.

The program of functional water activities helps to develop children’s cognitive and sensory skills and improve their ability to deal with different environments. It also improves their physical fitness and increases the efficiency of their respiratory systems. Water activities also strengthen the child’s weak muscles, help to relax tight muscles, increase the flexibility and mobility of the joints, which contributes to the development of motor skills in general, such as balance and control.

Maryam Al Hammadi, Acting Director of the People of Determination Department at the Community Development Authority, said: The Authority works through the Dubai Child Development Center to develop positive models and successful experiences to reach children of determination to their full potential, contributing to the application of these solutions on a wider scale and improve their opportunities for children to achieve all their rights in education, entertainment and social life on the same basis as their peers and in proportion to their abilities.
