The UAE Digital Government reported that the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation classifies employment according to nine skill levels according to the International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO) issued by the International Labor Organisation. These levels are: The first level: legislators, managers and business leaders. The second: specialists in scientific, technical and human subjects. The third: technicians in scientific, technical and humanitarian subjects. Fourth: the writing profession. Fifth: Service and sales professions. Sixth: skilled labor in agriculture, fisheries and livestock. And seventh: tradesmen in construction, extractive trades and other tradesmen. Eighth: Machine and equipment operators and fitters. And the ninth: simple professions.

She referred to the classification of workers as “skilled” if they meet four combined conditions, namely: that the worker is at the first five professional levels, that he has obtained a certificate higher than the general secondary certificate (or equivalent to the general certificate). secondary certificate) and that the certificate must be certified by the relevant authorities Specialization (according to current regulations in the country) and the monthly salary should not be less than 4000 dirhams, the contract salary (not a commission).
