He added that the awareness campaign aims to prevent accidents in school areas, especially deaths on the first day of the school year, and noted that through the campaign, Dubai Police seeks to achieve its strategic direction represented in the safe city, work to make community members happy , and reduce deaths for every 100 thousand inhabitants, which emphasizes the joint efforts of the various internal partners represented by the police station board, the Positive Spirit Initiative and the School Security Initiative to achieve the strategic direction of the management.

Butti Ahmed bin Darwish Al Falasi, Director of the Security Awareness Department, on his part confirmed that the campaign, which is being implemented for the fourth consecutive year, has proved remarkably successful in achieving the strategic indicators of management by reducing the percentage of accidents throughout the emirate of Dubai during the past year, and therefore the Dubai Police continues Launching the campaign annually, reminding the importance of ensuring that the school year for students is without accidents, and unifying the efforts of the working groups to achieve traffic indicators.
He added that the campaign will include awareness of the need to obey traffic laws, by wearing seat belts while driving, obeying the specified speed and road instructions, leaving a safe distance between vehicles, not using the phone while driving, giving pedestrians their right of way when crossing, and the importance of giving way to emergency vehicles.
