Abdullah bin Zayed congratulates new GCC Secretary-General

ABU DHABI, 2nd February, 2023 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has congratulated Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi on his appointment as the new Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC).

During a phone call, Sheikh Abdullah wished Albudaiwi success in performing his duties, which contributes to strengthening the joint Gulf action and meets the aspirations of their peoples for further development and prosperity.

The two sides also discussed a number of issues of common interest, in addition to the latest regional and international developments.
