ABU DHABI, 12th October, 2023 (WAM) — The Ministry of Interior (MoI) participates in the International Council on Archives (ICA) Congress Abu Dhabi 2023, where MoI displays an aspect of its history and achievements since its founding.
Through its platform, the Ministry briefed the public about its national achievements and its comprehensive development process over the past 51 years.
The Ministry also presents a distinguished list of introductory and educational initiatives, which review the MoI’s stages of development until the UAE occupied the leading positions in the region in various indicators of security and safety.
MoI is keen to participate in such international forums to introduce its policing legacy and its efforts to preserve national achievements, and cultural and historical landmarks.
The Ministry of Interior’s platform witnessed a remarkable interaction and attendance from the exhibition’s distinguished guests and visitors who viewed the written and interactive presentations offered by the platform.
The Security Media Department of the General Administration of Security Support participated in the event by showing a film titled The Ministry of Interior – The United Arab Emirates: A glorious past, a glorious present, and a promising future. The General Documentation Department of the General Administration of the Office of the Undersecretary also participated in the event.
The community security magazine (999) also presented its archives since its launch as a message. In a media report issued by the Ministry of Interior, the Police College, through its participating members, reviewed its history, its establishment, and the most important things it offers in the academic field. The Public Relations Department also organises workshops in the Ministry’s pavilion that reviews the connection between documentation and archiving with topics of technical and digital security.
