Virgil Abloh’s third Jordan I is set to debut, this time in an “UNC” colorway. The University of North Carolina color scheme consists of white and blue with Virgil’s ghosting and revealing techniques. As we are waiting, various release dates have been circulating: May 30th, June 9th, and June 23rd. The retail price is $190.
May 30th is the confirmed drop date for Nike.com in the following countries: Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Egypt, Chile, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Morocco. The United States has a launch date of June 9th, while Europe is expected to drop June 23rd. Though it is uncertain why the release is being split up like this, perhaps it will give sneakerheads a better shot at copping these grails. Who knows, maybe Nike is up to something, as they quietly released their Off White x Converse not too long ago. Either way, get ready for more Off White x Nike collabs!
