Al-Futtaim ACE continues to encourage its customers to take active steps towards a greener future by expanding its e-waste and battery recycling initiative to Abu Dhabi. Its store located in Yas Mall offers this service, following the success of this initiative in its stores in Dubai, where 4,000 kg of electronic waste and batteries were collected, thanks to the customers’ high sense of responsibility for the importance of preserving the environment.
Al-Futtaim ACE had launched the e-waste recycling program on World Environment Day in 2021 in collaboration with the recycling company “Green Land”, a local company specializing in recycling. By expanding this initiative to include its store in Yas Mall, Al-Futtaim ACE is fulfilling its promise to be environmentally conscious and aware of its problems and to offer its customers in Abu Dhabi a safe way to dispose of electronic waste.
The ACE e-waste recycling program accepts all types of batteries in addition to household appliances and kitchen appliances. Those who want to recycle old batteries can also do so at the ACE store on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
