Sharjah Charity Society has implemented medical aid for more than 1,271 cases from different emirates in the country worth 27.6 million dirhams during the last nine months of this year through its humanitarian project “Khair”.
Abdullah Sultan bin Khadim, executive director, said: “The association opens its electronic channels for all sick cases who are unable to provide the expenses for their treatment or the treatment of their families, so the requests are investigated promptly.” He pointed out that therapeutic help is one of the tools of social responsibility and one of the association’s programs aimed at providing the necessary assistance.
He emphasized that helping and treating patients is one of the association’s most important strategic initiatives, which aims to promote and spread the principle of social solidarity, a principle that the association has started to work with in collaboration with several parties to help patients with chronic diseases that require surgery and do not have treatment costs.
