Arbitration and Construction expert headed to Bin Nakhira & Partners.

Heavyweight UAE law firm, Bin Nakhira & Partners ( has expanded its team with partner hire of note in Abu Dhabi.

The firm confirmed its addition of arbitration and construction expert Fernando Ortega, who has worked with firms such as Freshfields, Allen & Overy, DWF, and Holland & Knight in the UAE.

Ortega, who leads Bin Nakhira & Partners’ Arbitration and Enforcement practice, has been involved in commercial, investment and construction disputes in the United States, Latin America, and the MENA region for claims over US$ 1 billion.

According to his biography page, in addition to general arbitral disputes, he assists stakeholders in construction claims on matters such as acceleration, delays, disruption, and variations, and works with O&G sector clients on downstream, midstream, and upstream project related claims.
