Boursa Kuwait indices down Tuesday due to selling pressure by Silicon Valley

KUWAIT, March 14 (KUNA) — Silicon Valley Bank bankruptcy crisis affected the trade of Kuwaiti banks’ shares In Boursa Kuwait, as was the case with the Gulf financial markets, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.

All Share Market Index in Boursa Kuwait went down 157.7 (2.2 percent) on Tuesday to reach 7059.18 points.

The Main Market Index dropped 104.4 points (1.9 percent) to 5364.58 points.

Meanwhile, the Premier Market Index dipped 180.3 points (2.2 percent) landing at 7878.06 points.

As for the Kuwait Main Market Index 50 (BKM50), it dropped 109.16 points (1.9 percent) to stand at 5481.75 points.
