Emirates Literature Foundation, in collaboration with Seddiqi Holding Group, announced the opening of applications for the “Semester One: Emirates Literature Fellowship and My Friend for Writers” program, the global program for training creative writers, which provides a unique opportunity for aspiring literary talents in The United Arab Emirates.

The Fellowship program gave 10 writers the opportunity to work with some of the world’s best-known authors. During the program, they met a group of international literary agents, editors and publishers and won a trip to New York to attend Gotham’s Creative Writers Workshop.

Director of the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature, Ahlam Blouki, expressed his delight at the first year’s crop, adding: “Anyone who wants to progress in the world of creative writing should take the opportunity to participate in the unique fellowship program which provides a unique opportunity to introduce participating authors to literary agents and editors.” and international publishers.
