The long-awaited extension to Dubai Mall‘s  Fashion Avenue is now open, housing a number of high-end brands including Gucci, Mikimoto, Dolce & Gabbana, Hermes, Rolex and Cartier. There are also a few food and beverage outlets open, including Starbucks and L’eto.

The new Dolce & Gabbana store which is spread over two floors was designed by architect Marco Costanzi of MCA Architecture. It features women’s, men’s and children’s collections. There is also a beauty dedicated area, including the artisanal fragrances Velvet Collection. A specially designated evening downs area was also conceived as part of the new concept of the store – Donna Sera.

The new Gucci flagship store covers an impressive surface of 1,000 sqm which that stretches over three floors with departments including women’s and men’s wear, leather good and bags, silks, eyewear, jewellery and watches, plus the new to market Gucci Décor collection and two VIP client rooms. In a regional-first, the Gucci DIY service is also on-hand to offer a personalisation service on certain products.
