Dubai: Classic vehicles’ licence plates to get a new design

Licence plates on classic vehicles registered in Dubai have got a heritage twist. Inspired by plates used in Dubai in the 1980s, the colour scheme on the plates have been changed from brown to yellow. They also feature improvements to ensure design alignment with Dubai’s standard vehicles plates.

The design has two elements: The words ‘Dubai’ and ‘Classic’ are written in both Arabic and English on a yellow background, while the number is written on a white background.
