Dubai Fashion Week was a no-show for six years and now, thanks to Sheikha Hend Bint Faisal Al Qassemi, Chairman of the Advisory Board and Board Member of the Dubai Fashion and Design College, it’s back with a new look, more designers, exhibitors and things to see and do.
iDFW will run from April 26 to April 28. Here are the details we have as of right now:
Day 1 and 2: The shows begin at 7.30pm. Some of the featured brands include India’s Junne Couture, known for their bold and edgy designs, and Malaysian Emmanuel Haute Couture, famous for their gorgeous gowns. Additionally, H.H Sheikha Hend Al Qassemi’s brand, The House of Hend will be showcased as well.
Day 3: International Lebanese Couturier, Walid Attalah will be the finale. The show will then be followed by a VIP gala dinner attended by royalty and other prominent names in the Middle East. Some of the attendees confirmed are Kuwaiti social media star and influencer Rawan Bin Hussain, Queen Zaynab of Nigeria and Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana, the granddaughter of the late king of Thailand.
