Dubai restaurants launch festive offers


Dubai restaurants have launched offers in time for the festive season.

Il Passaggio
Il Passaggio, located on The Pointe, will be offering guests the chance to enjoy Christmas dinner at the restaurant or take-home packages for those who would prefer to entertain at home. 

For those not wanting to cook, Il Passaggio will be offering a three-course set menu (AED 200pp), which includes unlimited coffee and one mocktail or soft drink. Festive treats include Bruschetta, their iconic Truffle tear & share, traditional Roast Turkey or Lamb, with all the trimmings, their Mama’s Lasagna and vegetarian options such as the Pumpkin Wellington. Dinner ends with a choice between a Yuletide Christmas Log or Tiramisu. 

Those opting to stay at home, can choose one of Il Passaggio’s Christmas Dinner packages, including ‘Turkey Riding Solo’ (AED 625) which includes a seven-kilo turkey and is served with Champignon mushroom and tantalising herb crouton stuffing.

Plus, the ‘Turkey with All the Trimmings’ (AED 799). All packages include a rich gravy and finishing instructions. The turkey orders can feed up to 8 people and can be ordered from December 1 to December 26. Orders must be placed 72 hours in advance and customers will have the choice of three time slots for collection. Those looking to continue in Italian flair can opt for Mama’s Lasagna, priced at AED 350 the dish is enough to feed six people. 

Additionally, those looking to add extra sides can pick from Christmas favourites like Giant Yorkshire Puddings and Truffle Mash Potato, Yuletide Chocolate Log, Merry Macaroons, Mini Panettone, Mince Pies and Stollen. 

Local butchery and smokehouse, CarniStore have launched their ready-to-eat festive packages just in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The homegrown brand has curated two deals.

Both deals are accompanied with a brined and oak smoked free-range American turkey which is stuffed with an aromatic onion and fruit stuffing and injected with an herb butter. The bird is regularly basted with honey butter resulting in a crispy finish.  

For someone entertaining those near and dear the All the Basics pack comprises a five-kilo smoked turkey, accompanied by a smoked broth gravy, butter and sage veal stuffing along with oozing cheesy spinach and a potato gratin. This enough to feed 10 to 12 people and costs AED 750. 

For those holding bigger bashes, the Ultimate Festive Spread is the one to get. With truffle mac & cheese, sweet potato casserole, tangy Maple Sriracha Brussel sprouts and veal stuffing, the smoked broth gravy and turkey is enough to feed 12 to 15 people and comes at a price tag of AED 1,050.

London Dairy Café
London Dairy Café (LDC) brings all the comfort food of the festive season with the LDC Turkey to-go package that serves 6-8.  Priced at AED 650, the slow-roasted Turkey complete with trimmings comes in a reusable tote bag.

For an additional AED 150, guests can complete the festive cheer with Christmas cookies, palmiers and pannetones, and set the tone for jollier celebration.

Zuma Dubai
Zuma Dubai will be celebrating Christmas with its award-winning brunch on Friday, December 25. Guests can ernjoy a festive a la carte brunch with seasonally inspired dishes and desserts, as well as the usual Zuma favourites.

They can select from four Christmas brunch packages; Kitsu (AED 473) the healthy brunch, includes Zuma cleansers and non-alcoholic beverages; Kowaku (AED 625), the glamour brunch includes sparkling, a sommeliers’ selection of grapes; Kyasha (AED 688) the luxury brunch includes Bollinger bubbly, Japanese taster and a sommeliers’ selection of grapes; and more. They also have a kids’ package for up to the age of 12, Kodomo (AED 236).
