MUSCAT, September 27, 2022 (WAM) — President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with His Majesty King Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman, at Al Alam Palace in Muscat, Oman’s capital.
During the first day of the UAE President’s official visit to Oman, the two leaders spoke of the historic ties between the two countries and discussed ways to further strengthen these ties.
The Sultanate welcomed His Royal Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and the UAE delegation, conveying his joy at their visit and his pride in the close ties enjoyed by Oman and the UAE.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed thanked His Majesty and the UAE delegation for their warm welcome and wished the Sultan and the people of Oman well.
Their Royal Highnesses and Their Majesties discussed the growing economic relationship between the UAE and Oman and opportunities to develop areas where the two countries could enhance cooperation, including investment, financial, industrial and cultural sectors.
Their talks centered around the two leaders’ shared vision for a safe and stable region that promotes sustainable development and supports thriving economies where people can reach their full potential. .
After the official talks, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and His Majesty King Sultan Haitham bin Tariq held a one-on-one session.
