ABU DHABI, August 12 / WAM / Abu Dhabi Police organized a youth tour with the participation of about 100 young people in the summer camp under the Ministry of Culture and Youth in collaboration with the Federal Youth Foundation, which coincided with the International Youth Day, which falls on August 12 annual.
The Police’s Follow-up and Aftercare Branch and the Police’s Legacy Branch of the Protocol and Public Relations Department participated in the tour between the spaces of the Abu Dhabi Creative Center to explore opportunities to cultivate hobbies and skills and to develop special projects and initiatives that contribute to increase the quality of life.
Colonel Ahmed Juma Al Khaili, Director of the Police Follow-up and Post-processing Department, explained that the event included a cross-generational meeting that brought together youth, senior citizens and children and presented souvenirs of the police heritage to the first 100 visitors to the Abu Dhabi Creative Center.
He pointed out that the celebration of the International Youth Day is a confirmation of Abu Dhabi Police’s continued interest in the youth category and motivates them to creativity and adoption of development ideas and proposals.
He pointed out that the focus was placed on the concept of youth roots and intergenerational interdependence in Abu Dhabi Police, and introducing young people to the “Zayed First Regiment Course”, which contributed a prominent role in the process of policing and security work, starting the major stages of development that we are witnessing today.
