MADRID, July 27 / WAM / A delegation of university students from the United Arab Emirates from various academic disciplines visited the Spanish University of Navarre, as part of the activation of the agreement between the two universities and the summer training program for university students, which lasts for a week .
Prof. Dr. Aisha Salem Al Dhaheri, Associate Deputy for Student Affairs, said that this visit comes within the framework of the joint collaboration between the UAE University and the Spanish University of Navarre, with the aim of strengthening the role of art and upgrading the art center of the university, and to activate the cooperation and partnership agreement to exchange experience, knowledge and training between the two parties, where the University of Navarra is one of the distinguished academic institutions in Spain, which has many and distinguished contributions to academic, cultural and personal development of talented.
12 male and female students from different academic disciplines participated in the delegation, as part of the summer training, where they were selected based on high academic standards, in addition to their artistic talents and their ability to present distinguished works characterized by creativity and innovation. They are outstanding students, who participate in extracurricular activities. Their work was featured in the opening event for the Unity Arts Center.
The delegation visited the University Museum, which plays an important role in informing and educating the university community, and has an interdisciplinary approach to art and aims to promote participation and collaboration with the schools and departments of the University of Navarra and other centers.
The summer training program for the visit also included an intensive course for beginners in the Spanish language, learning about archaeological museums, the history of the city of Pamplona, its different cultures, its ancient monuments since the last centuries and ways to preserve them, in addition to participating in training workshops at a number of university faculties and institutes.
