Liwa, 23rd July / WAM / Al Dhafra Hospitals participated in the activities of the Liwa Date Festival 2022 by offering a healthy participation in the local community that helps to promote health awareness for the people of the region, while its participation was not limited to the provision of supportive health services , but rather presented a set of initiatives to visitors to the festival and the people of the Liwa area to address the needs of various community groups in the region.
Mansour Abdullah, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Al Dhafra Hospitals, said that the “Keep Well” initiative comes at the forefront of the initiatives that Al Dhafra Hospitals offers to the festival audience through which the hospital administration seeks to improve healthcare services in Liwa City, and continues until the end of August, in addition to the “Al Dhafra” initiative. Healthy Society”, which includes a set of free vital examinations for visitors and participants, and will continue to cover authorities and institutions in the Al Dhafra region, while hospitals promote the “Check” program for comprehensive periodic detection of diseases and their early treatment.
He added that on the awareness side, 12 health lectures were organized on the interactive stage, presented by hospital doctors and specialists. The lectures covered information on heart disease, oral and dental health, lung rescue, diabetes awareness, stress management, healthy nutrition and prevention programmes.
