DUBAI, August 12 / WAM / The “Digital Citizenship and Digital Innovation Applications” campaign concluded its various activities, programs and events, which were set to culminate its goal of educating new generations with modern technologies, improving them in their minds, and expand the horizons of their knowledge and thinking to discover the future.
Launched by the Watani Al Emarat Foundation, Al Ameen Service and the Emirates Foundation for School Education, and considered the first of its kind, the camp targeted two categories: children aged seven to eleven and youth aged twelve to sixteen, for both genders, which was held in Dubai for three weeks at the Zayed Educational Complex, in both Arabic and English.
Through its activities, the camp sought to prepare and prepare the participants of the camp, to experience the global competitions by being fully prepared and equipped by mastering electronic programming, artificial intelligence and robotics, in addition to increasing self-awareness of cyber security, focusing on the national aspect that plays a major role in refining the personality and giving the participant the spirit of loyalty, belonging and desire to develop through national activities in the various workshops.
His Excellency Dharar Belhoul Al Falasi, Federal National Council Member and CEO of Watani Al Emarat Foundation, emphasized that the digital citizenship and digital innovation applications camp is the starting platform for our participating children as it is the first step to qualify. those in development and technological advancement to keep up with the tremendous acceleration in technology, so the camp is a guide to creativity and innovation through a system An integrated set of skills reinforced with values that motivate minds to innovate, develop and discover. And also to be an embodiment of the strategy of the Watani Al Emarat Foundation, which with all its activities and initiatives embodies the vision of our wise leadership in creating the future with the eyes of the present and making the present with the eyes of the future, through the consolidation of the cognitive action, that is responsive to the modern technological development of the new generation.
