ABU DHABI, August 29 / WAM / Pursuant to the directives of His Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Board of the Social Solidarity Fund for employees of the Ministry of Interior ..a joint community initiative was announced between the Ministry of Social Development and the Social Solidarity Fund for employees of the Ministry of the Interior Fazaa, which includes the distribution of school bags with all their needs to eligible students from families with limited income, with the aim of facilitating them and providing their needs within the framework of promoting the efforts of solidarity work to improve the quality of life in Emirati society in all its categories.
Under the initiative, more than 10,000 school bags with all their requirements will be distributed to eligible students registered with the Ministry of Social Development within families eligible for social security.
On this occasion, His Excellency Nasser Ismail, Assistant Under-Secretary for Social Welfare Affairs in the Ministry of Community Development, emphasized the Ministry’s eagerness to provide various aspects of support to deserving groups of families with limited income, based on its belief in the importance of community. contribution, and the need for collaboration and partnership with various public and private agencies, institutions and associations for benefit. For his part, Colonel Ahmed Buharoon Al Shamsi, Director General of the Social Solidarity Fund for the Ministry of the Interior, said that with this initiative we seek to advance the goals and mission of the Social Solidarity Fund – Fazaa towards community contributions that demonstrate the values of solidarity and solidarity in Emirati society and works to contribute to efforts to strengthen societal human values, cooperation and participation.
