DUBAI, 27th August, 2022 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) and Member of Dubai Council, affirmed that Emirati women were and still are a key pillar of society and an essential contributor to its development.

Sheikha Latifa said Emirati women have always been integral to the UAE’s society and a major contributor to its development. They continue to push boundaries and excel, and their ambition knows no limit. “Emirati Women’s Day is an annual opportunity to reflect on all the remarkable social, cultural, and economic contributions of Emirati women. It is a moment to acknowledge all they have achieved personally and professionally.”

“These achievements were made possible through the support and enabling environment the UAE’s wise leadership created and continue to uphold and invest in. When we invest in women, we invest in shaping a better, more prosperous future for everyone. I congratulate Emirati women and every woman who calls the UAE home; every mother, sister, wife and daughter,” Sheikha Latifa stated.
