GEMS Wesgreen International School holds Fourteenth Honours Ceremony.
GEMS Wesgreen International School held the 14th edition of its Honours Ceremony at the Sharjah Cultural Palace to recognise 72 high-achieving graduate students.
Her Excellency Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi, President of Zayed University, presented students with their certificates along with the Principal and teaching staff. Also as part of the ceremony, further recognitions were granted which included the Headmasters Award, as well as Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards, from June 2017.
Her Excellency encouraged the students to on to achieve greater accolades in a competitive world both personally and professionally. Also in attendance was Waseem AlHanbali, Regional Director, MENA Cambridge Assessment International Education.

Scholastic knowledge without ethical understanding is wasted – at Wesgreen, our learning culture is geared towards enhancing leadership skills through hard work, responsibility, integrity, respect for all, compassion and humility.
“Following on from this fantastic ceremony which has been held to celebrate the success of our students, I wish them the very best that life has to offer.”
The programme covered recitation from the Holy Quran with translation, a recital of the National Anthem, speeches by the Head Boy and Head Girl and an overview of the school year by the Headmaster.
