Global COVID-19 cases cross 481.49 million

WASHINGTON, 30th March, 2022 (WAM) — More than 481.49 million people have been reported to be infected by the coronavirus globally, and 6,502,665 have died, according to a Reuters tally on Wednesday.

Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in December 2019.
