Hunter & Barrel, the award-winning Australian steakhouse, bar and lounge, launched their third venue in the UAE today, opening the doors of a new, branded restaurant at the Millennium Hotel in Mirdif Hills.

With roots established in Vida Emirates Hills, Yas Bay Waterfront, and a pop-up venue at Expo 2020, Hunter & Barrel has fast become known as one of the premier steakhouses in Dubai. Offering high-quality charcoal-grilled meats with plentiful vegetables and barrel-aged craft beverages, the restaurant is a culinary and thematic homage to hunter-gatherer techniques by way of its mouth-watering sharing platters perfect for communal dining.

Incorporating its core values into its design, the venue decor takes cues from modern and traditional styles of regional hunting. Showing progression from the established restaurants in Emirates Hills and Yas Bay, the Mirdif edition homes in on the post-hunt celebration and focuses on communal feasting with warm, homely tones throughout.

As Mirdif Hills becomes the new hotspot in Dubai, Hunter & Barrel fits perfectly in the ethos of the location. Owned and operated by Seagrass Boutique Hospitality Group, the new venue can serve 150 guests for lunch or dinner and is perfect for friends or family of all ages – its ‘Young Hunters’, a specially curated children’s menu, complements the extensive a la carte food and beverage offerings.

Hunter & Barrel Mirdif carries the exclusive and renowned Middle East menu that includes a wide range of dishes specially curated by Chef Kamil Bouloot, Head of Culinary and Operations. The Hunter’s Sharing Platter features an assortment of open fire prawns, smoky chicken wings, three cheese dip, and spicy calamari, while steak lovers can enjoy a range of cuts, including a huge 1.3kg Tomahawk or 700g Angus T-bone for communal sharing.

Guests can also opt for Hunter & Barrel’s Business Lunch, which includes Beef Scallopine, Chicken Avocado, or Fire-Butterfly Prawns, along with a daily dessert special and a soft drink. Meanwhile, an extra-generous twist on the traditional happy hour means guests can enjoy barrel-aged cocktails and premium craft drinks everyday across all three locations between 3-7pm.
