Abu Dhabi Airports has appointed Jamal Salem Al Dhaheri as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. Through his new position, Al Dhaheri will continue the distinguished achievements of the former CEO of Abu Dhabi Airports Sherif Hashem Al Hashimi as he seeks to take the company to new heights from becoming the leading company in the region in airport operations and operation.
Jamal Al Dhaheri came to Abu Dhabi Airports with more than 27 years of experience, holding several management positions in a number of the most prominent entities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
For five years, Al Dhaheri served as CEO of General Holding Company (Senaat) before ending his duties there in 2020 to take up the position of CEO of Food Products and Agricultural Technology Company (Salal), which was newly created by ADQ. Al Dhaheri is also currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dubai Cable Company “Ducab”, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Salal” Company and the position of Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Emirates Steel, Arkan.
