Eco-Friendly luxury children’s furniture company, Lifetime Kidsroom opens a brand new store in Mercato Mall, Dubai, UAE
The 47 year-old global Danish brand, Lifetime Kidsroom is opening their new flagship store in the UAE in Dubai’s Mercato Mall on Friday, January 11, 2019. The Danish Ambassador, H.E. Franz-Michael Skjold Mellbin, will do the honors at the Ribbon cutting ceremony set to begin at 1pm and end at 5pm.
With over four decades manufacturing high-quality furniture children’s bedroom, and over 400 stores worldwide, the brand is making a new home in Dubai where quality, sustainability and eco- friendly consciousness is at the forefront of concern for most families in the region today.
“Our products have always been about longevity, and are specifically designed to not only grow with your child through our adaptable bed system design, but are also sustainably sourced, completely organic and contain no chemicals. Our bed systems are innovative and flexible so they can adapt to every need from toddler stage through to teenage years. We really believe in developing long-term relationships with our clients and designing products that fulfill their needs for decades to come – both environmentally and practically. We identified the need for such a solution here in the UAE and really felt it was the right time to introduce a brand store,” says Lifetime Kidsroom Marketing Advisor, Prodromos Antzoulis. He went on to state, “We are incredibly honored to have H.E. Franz- Michael Skjold Mellbin attending the event and opening our first store in the UAE. It’s wonderful to have the support of the Danish Embassy here for our grand opening and it really validates what we’ve been doing as a brand for the past 40 plus years – looking at the world through childrens’ eyes, understanding their interests and giving them an imaginative universe for them to play, learn and thrive-in while also giving incredible value and eco-friendly solutions to parents. It’s one of the reasons that we ensure all of our products exceed international standards and are all tested by TUV in Germany to ensure they meet the EU standards of EN-747 – the highest in the industry. Safety and sustainability are our watchwords.”
Being environmentally conscious has long been a foundational principal to the Lifetime Kidsrooms brand, who only use specially selected, sustainable pine wood and eco-friendly, water based varnished and stains and come with a five year guarantee. “We know that parents have a great deal of choice on the market, but rarely will they have such high quality, eco-friendly and adaptable solutions all in one product. It’s really important for us to provide furniture that becomes part of the fabric of their life and really can adapt to the needs of their children throughout their childhood and beyond. Being able to bring that to the region means a great deal to us,” says Antzoulis.
The Grand Opening ceremony is open to the public and will begin with the ribbon cutting ceremony followed by face painting, selfie photo booth, organic treats from The Snack Society, full product displays, interactive activities, gift bags and more, for children and parents alike to enjoy.
