His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, yesterday evening inaugurated the “Salem Smart Center for Medical Fitness Examination” in the Dubai International Financial Center area.
The center is the second of its kind in the Emirate of Dubai and it is the latest in the world of fitness examinations with its fourth industrial revolution technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotic systems and the “internet of things”, all of which guarantee an easy and fast journey to medical examinations and extraction of results and achievement of residency and identity transactions within a period of no more than 30 minutes and without papers in accordance with the directions of the Government of Dubai and the UAE and its ambitious strategic goals.
The center, which is the fruit of a close partnership between the public and private sectors, with the participation of the private company Smart Salem, aims to provide high quality medical fitness examination services to VIPs as well as a wide range of businessmen, investors and workers in the various prestigious companies and institutions that Dubai hosts.
Upon his arrival at the center’s headquarters, His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was received by His Excellency Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, Awad Saghir Al Ketbi, Director General of the Dubai Health Authority and senior officials of Smart Company Salem and a number of officials.
His Highness, the Deputy Ruler of Dubai, was introduced to the customer’s journey inside the centre, which was characterized by ease and comfort, and was devoid of papers at all its stations, taking the latest smart technologies to complete each stage, starting from recording the customer’s data and then examining medical suitability (blood, x-rays) and even completing residence and identity card transactions.
His Highness was briefed about the blood testing rooms which are seven rooms that include the latest technologies to collect blood samples and transport them quickly to the laboratory for examination and issuance of results according to the best safety and security protocols applicable globally. the high-level equipment in the laboratory, and the extreme accuracy with which blood samples are analyzed and results issued within minutes.
His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also inspected the radiology unit, which includes 3 rooms, all controlled by artificial intelligence, from taking an X-ray to extracting the results and including them in the client’s medical fitness report.
His Highness stopped at the (Amer) service attached to the center so that all medical examinations, residence and identity card transactions and procedures are under one roof, with the necessary speed and accuracy, to facilitate the customers and to save their time and effort.
