According to Muscat Daily, Muscat Municipality in Seeb has inspected 21 butcher shops ahead of the Eid al Adha rush.

“The slaughterhouses are ready for Eid al Adha,” a government official confirmed.

“All facilities have undergone maintenance, and faulty electrical and mechanical parts have been replaced.

“A fully automated device to skin cows has been installed, which will save a lot of time for the butchers and enable quicker service.”

Similar consideration to mechanical and electrical works has been ongoing in Saudi’s Makkah Municipality in preparation for this year’s Hajj.
