Nothing’s ever been easy in a woman’s world, especially in the years past like the ’80s. New Netflix Original series, The Exchange, is going to portray that in 1987 Kuwait, as well as two strong-willed ladies. And we’re so ready to see the girl power!

The streamer is adding to its foreign show library with the addition of the series, which is the first Netflix Original to come from Kuwait. The drama is based on a true story about two women who were the only gals working at the male-dominated Kuwaiti Stock Exchange.

It may be a “cutthroat” environment, but our two main characters, Farida and Munira, are going to prove they’re more than capable of keeping up, per the synopsis. Together, they’re going to go on a journey of sisterhood, perseverance, ambition, and strength, according to Netflix.

The six-episode series is set to debut Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023. The drama is in Arabic, but subtitles are available. The show was filmed entirely and produced in Kuwait.

So who takes on the roles of the two lovely ladies? Who else joins the leads onscreen? We’ve got the answer for you below!
