Prime Bank Limited has appointed Rahel Ahmed as the bank’s new managing director and CEO. His appointment came into effect from December 14.
For the past three years, Rahel has played a leading role in the bank’s ‘Business Model Restructuring and Centralization’ program.
Before joining Prime Bank in 2015, he worked with the two of the largest multinational banks in Bangladesh – ANZ Grindlays Bank and Standard Chartered Bank – for more than a decade.
Rahel has also worked in Dubai, UAE at the Emirates NBD Banking Group and the First Gulf Bank.
He has a major in international business from the Maastricht School of Business, Netherlands.
