Dubai: Those living in Dubai are advised to register the details of their companions. The Dubai Land Department has issued an instruction regarding this. Two weeks have been allotted for this. Registration can be completed through the Dubai REST app.

Building owners, tenants, property management companies and developers are required to register. Enter personal details and Emirates ID. Once registered you can update again. Should be updated as the contract is renewed.

After opening the Dubai Rest app, select the Individual section. You can login using UAE pass. You can choose where your property is located on the dashboard. In the ‘Add More’ section, it is possible to add everyone’s name and information. Those who live as a family should add the names of the family members. Names can be removed later.
