His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Councilor and Ruler of Sharjah, yesterday morning inspected a number of heritage sites in the Fali area. (Sharjah – WAM)

During the visit, His Highness listened to a detailed explanation about the Fley Road and the archaeological castle, its history and its impact on the area in the past, and the effects it contained to preserve the history of the place and its contribution to the commercial life and the movement of transients and travelers in earlier eras, with its important heritage and historical significance.

His Highness was also briefed on a series of maps of the cultural heritage sites in the Feli area and the ongoing construction plans for their restoration as part of a distinctive cultural heritage and tourism project, so that the visit to the area became one continuous path. , connecting the café through waterways through the matches and entrances to the aflaj, to the old police station and the castle next door.
