African economies   The urgent aid aims to safeguard the agricultural season in Sudan

The urgent aid aims to safeguard the agricultural season in Sudan, especially that many Sudanese depend on the sector for their livelihoods. The nutrients were sent in a ship that sailed from Al Jubail Industrial Port in Saudi Arabia to Sudan.

The assistance is part of the 3-billion-U.S.-dollar financial support allocated by both countries, including 500 million U.S. dollar as a deposit at the central bank to support the country’s economy that suffers because of the political unrest.
