Sharjah Charity Society started implementing its summer campaign “Coolness and Peace” and the campaign began its tasks of distributing water and cold drinks to more than 7000 workers associated with public and private institutions at their workplaces to reduce the intense humidity for them and that educate them about the dangers of heat exhaustion from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

Director of the Department of Voluntary Work and Community Service, Aisha Al-Huwaidi, said the campaign included the distribution of cooling devices to needy families, and the association provided financial grants to provide air conditioners and household appliances to disadvantaged families at a rate of 5,000 beneficiaries who can increases according to the number of inquiries that reach the association, and air conditioning is among the needs. homes, investigate their conditions and submit reports about the overdue numbers that do not have refrigerants or other household appliances, such as refrigerators.
