The Department of Social Services in Sharjah is preparing to hold the Elderly Services Forum 2022 in its 11th edition, under the slogan “Paths of Positive Aging”, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy. The forum will be held on September 29 at Al Qasimia University in Sharjah.

The forum aims to shed light on the requirements to change the life practices of the elderly in order to live old age positively, to continue its bid on various aspects of his life, activities, responsibilities and requirements by addressing ways and proposals for developing positive life paths for the elderly to to live the age stage positively in all ways such as (the creative way, Cognitive way, psychological way, social way).
In this occasion; Maha Mansour Al Ali, Director of Government Communications, said that the Forum addresses in its proceedings new visions from specialists and those dealing with elderly issues, to address ways to support positive paths achieved for positive aging practices and exchange experiences between institutions dealing with the elderly on the supportive program to achieve positive and active aging, besides monitoring the needs and aspects of development required to improve the map of current services and programs in the life paths of the elderly to guide them towards an active, positive and effective life.
