A restaurant with a loyal and royal following…
Dubai’s DIFC has no shortage of amazing restaurants, but when something catches the eye of royalty, it’s usually a good sign that you’ve got something special on hand. The same goes for BB Social Restaurant – a chic restaurant frequented by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai The restaurant even found time to take a photo with one of its founders, Shabnum Stumpf (below).
Ha-BB, come to Abu Dhabi
what happened Sources say BB Social Dining is serving award-winning cuisine along the E11 road all the way to Abu Dhabi. Given their capital location, it looks like they’ve made a smart choice – find a hospitality hotel that shares their passion for exceptional food and fun, trend-setting aesthetics… Rosewood Abu Dhabi on Al Maryah Island .
At the hotel, BB Social Dining will strengthen the product portfolio that already includes Dai Pai Dong, Hidden Bar, La Cava and Glo. Just steps from Al Maryah, BB joins a culinary community that brings together Michelin Guide bait kitchen talent like Zuma, LPM, 99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant, Butcher and Still and Coya.
This Abu Dhabi release (which we’re told is expected to be around the end of the year) follows the opening of a KSA branch in Riyadh in early 2022.
Make a B line
The BB Social Dining ethos is at least in part about incorporating fine dining into well-crafted casual dining packages. Cuisine from the Eastern Hemisphere is on full display and the menu is interestingly grouped under heading B – Bows, Snacks, Bowls and Grill.
We’re big fans of their Japanese and Korean buns (especially the crispy duck and sesame beef); cauliflower popcorn, edamame hummus, and crispy bean sprouts make a great appetizer or light snack to pair with drinks ; For something more substantial, we would recommend portions of wagyu katsu, beef pho and harissa lamb chops.
