Shure MV7 brings professional-level audio made for new and experienced creators

Podcasting and audio streaming is on the rise, but the tools that you need to get professional-grade audio often come in large sizes and cost an arm and a leg. To meet these demands, Shure is launching the MV7 Podcast Microphone in the UAE, which is the company’s first hybrid XLR/USB microphone.

Harnessing the quality that made its iconic SM7B Vocal Microphone one of the best microphones in the recording and podcasting sectors, the MV7 delivers high-quality audio and various connectivity options in a sleek and compact design.

The MV7 uses Shure’s Voice Isolation Technology that can help elevate the user’s voice where the microphone’s pick-up pattern can only focus on the vocals. There’s also Auto Level Mode that Shure says acts as a ‘virtual audio engineer’ that can adjust audio levels on the fly for a more consistent listening experience.

The microphone also houses a touch-based panel for simple and quick adjustments. Tapping the panel will let you adjust the gain, volume, monitor mix, and mute/unmute. It also works with the Shure MOTIV app for desktops, allowing you to control audio functions using customizable presets.

The MV7 also offers a professional XLR output perfect for interfaces, mixers, and recording studios. There is also support for USB-A and USB-C output for easy connection on a PC or a Mac. What’s more, it can even be used on select Android devices while on iPhones and iPads, a separate Lightning cable can be purchased separately.

The Shure MV7 Podcast Microphone comes in colors of black and silver, available for 952 AED at the following retailers: Dubai Audio, DJ Corner, Techniline, and Audio Shop by Sound Town Electronics. Also available for purchase is the optional desktop mic stand, folding tripod stand, or boom arm.

Stay tuned for a review of the MV7 soon.
