ABU DHABI, 7th June, 2023 (WAM) – The Swedish Embassy in Abu Dhabi celebrated the Swedish National Day on Tuesday evening in the capital. Liselott Andersson, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to the UAE, hosted a reception on the occasion.
The ceremony was attended by Ayesha Al Suwaidi, Director of the European Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a number of officials, members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps accredited to the UAE, and members of the Swedish community.
In a speech, the ambassador praised the wise policy of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the close relations that bind the two countries together. She stressed that the bilateral relations are witnessing continuous development and growth in all fields.
