As part of its continuous efforts to improve its services to its students and create a distinguished university experience, the American University of Sharjah has opened a center to respond to student needs and provide solutions that provide assistance to students and their families in all aspects of university, from applying for scholarships to securing accommodation on campus.

The center also provides iPads for students to complete university forms, and provides a comfortable area where they can sit with staff to discuss their enquiries.
Dr. The center makes it quick and easy for students to access all these services, and also ensures that they get the best possible advice. The main aim of the center is to facilitate students’ lives and give them more time to focus on their studies and extracurricular activities instead of dealing with administrative issues.”
“There are many services that new students must have access to, and administrative tasks that they must perform before they can start their studies. By bringing all the services together in one center, it becomes much easier for new students to complete these tasks. It also provides them with a welcoming, informal environment that encourages them to ask questions about college life and will consequently refer them to the person who can best meet their specific needs.”
Lian Sourani, President of the Student Council, spoke of the importance of the centre: “I am looking forward to this service because I know it will ease the process of joining the university for new students. It will also increase the ability of current students to gain access to the resources they need, which will improve the student experience at university.”
