DUBAI- The United Arab Emirates central bank said on Wednesday it was enhancing its reporting of non-performing loans.

The changes will be in reports published as of the third quarter of 2019, it said in a statement.

Under the new reporting standard, the NPL ratio of the country’s banking system for the year-end 2018 stood at 5.6% instead of 7.1%
