His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President, received King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa of Bahrain.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed and King Hamad expressed the deep-rooted historical relationship that unites the UAE and the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people. They wished both countries continued progress.

The meeting discussed ways to strengthen joint coordination and action, and diversify their perspectives in all areas to advance sustainable development efforts and, on the basis of the strong brotherly relationship that unites the two countries, for the realization of the two countries. The aspirations and common interests of the people contribute to the nation and their belief in the unity of a common destiny.

King Hamad commended the UAE, under the leadership of Sheikh Mohammed, for its pivotal and effective role in the regional and international arena, as well as its good efforts to consolidate the pillars of security and stability and spread peace in the region and the world, Because and a global initiative that promotes the human values ​​of coexistence, tolerance and cooperation among peoples.

The two sides discussed some Gulf and Arab issues as well as developments in the regional and international arena, and exchanged views on some issues of mutual concern.

Sheikhs and other senior officials were also in attendance.
