The United Arab Emirates University has completed the necessary preparations for the start of the new academic year 2022-2023 by receiving 2,898 male and female students from all academic disciplines, including 2,621 female students and 277 male students.
Dr. Ghaleb Al-Hadrami Al-Buraiki, Acting Rector of the University, accompanied by Dr. Aisha Salem Al Dhaheri, co-deputy for Student Affairs, Dr. Matthew Evans – Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs, Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Acting Secretary General, and Eng. Muhammad Al Owain, director of the University Facilities Department, inspects the campus facilities, especially residences, activity centers, classrooms and laboratories, to check all equipment.
Dr. Ghaleb Al-Hadrami Al-Buraiki emphasized the importance of providing all the elements that support the student, since the University of the United Arab Emirates is the “University of the Future”, which has contributed and continues to contribute to highlighting and strengthening the country’s position globally within for science, research, innovation and exploration. Because of its distinguished competencies and expertise that contribute to achieving excellence, leadership and sustainable development in the country, according to the vision of our wise leadership. The university president was briefed on all the preparations and equipment to receive the students and expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the university staff. Dr. Aisha Salem Al Dhaheri indicated that the university administration has completed all procedures to start the academic year smoothly by taking all necessary measures and providing all services and service facilities in the university campus.
