Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate has start enabling works for Festival Avenue, the 2 billion Egyptian pound ($128 million) extension of the group’s Cairo Festival City mall, the company’s General Manager said.
Hayssam Hajjar told Zawya Projects that main construction would start early in 2022 with the 27,193-sqm extension expected to open in the first quarter of 2023.
In November last year, Zawya Projects had reported that a consortium of Consolidated Contractors Company and Hassan Allam Sons was awarded the main contract.
