Yas Island, Abu Dhabi’s premier entertainment destination, announced the launch of a series of special offers and unique experiences on Sunday 28 August to celebrate Emirati Women’s Day. The occasion was launched by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, President of the General Women’s Union, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood and Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation. In 2015, August 28 was dedicated to celebrate it annually, highlighting the achievements of Emiratis and strengthening their role in society.
In celebration of Emirati Women’s Day, guests at Yas Island can enjoy wonderful adventures at Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, inspired by diving and pearl diving in the Emirates, with complimentary henna shows during “Ladies’ Night”, where women can enjoy the water park in complete privacy and comfort, while visitors at Qasr Al Watan will have the opportunity to decorate their hands with Emirati henna designs inspired by the motifs of traditional architecture.
Before entering Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, or embarking on one of two record-breaking experiences in the world’s largest indoor skydiving room or climbing the tallest indoor climbing wall in CLYMB Abu Dhabi, the achievements of Emirati women can be recognized on big screens at their entrance to the place.
Guests can enjoy an impressive array of dining deals from restaurants across the island, with Yas Plaza hotels offering 25% off its restaurants including Jing Asia, Baroque, Asymetric, Fellini Garden, Amerigos, Rangoli, Choices and Blue Grill, among others As well as special spa treatments. Al Fanar, the popular Emirati restaurant at The Fountains at Yas Mall, is offering 25% off vouchers for 10 Emirati women, valid for one month.
On this occasion, Osmo Lounge at Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island offers women the opportunity to get a free box of chocolates, while Taste in Time restaurant at “Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi” and DoubleTree by Hilton Abu Dhabi Residences – Yas Island offer coffee, cakes and refreshing mocktails for the guests.
