The Ministry of Education has set Monday, April 25, as the date for school-level qualifications in the sixth edition of the Arab Reading Challenge initiative for the year 2021-2022 launched by the United Arab Emirates.
In a statement, which SANA received a copy of today, the ministry asked its directorates in the governorates to form arbitration committees in schools to complete the playoffs.
The general coordinator of the initiative in Syria, “Ali Al-Abbas,” stated that the date of the competitions was set at this time so as not to conflict with the date of the transitional exams in schools.
After the school qualifiers, the second phase will be implemented next June at the governorate level, where each school will participate in the top three, after which 100 participants from all governorates at the level of Syria will compete.
