A Brazilian economic delegation from the Consultative Council of the Special Authority to Support Small and Medium Enterprises in the state of São Paulo headed by Tirso Salles de Meirelles visited the Syrian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai today.
The delegation reviewed the various sections of the pavilion and inspected the exhibits and the various artistic and cultural contents from the first alphabet to the room designated for listening to the oldest musical notations in history.
During his visit to the Syrian pavilion, accompanied by the Syrian Ambassador to the UAE, Commissioner-General of the pavilion, Dr. Ghassan Abbas, Meirelles expressed his admiration for the exhibits, especially with regard to the commercial section.
The delegation also showed great interest in the collective art exhibition hosted by the pavilion under the title (I am the Syrian), where each painting represents a face from Syria. The idea of the exhibition is based on the fact that every Syrian person is part of the collective consciousness and that we are all similar and interconnected and together we will build a brighter future for Syria and the world.
This visit comes within the multiple visits made by many officials and personalities to the Syrian wing, which indicates Syria’s common and distinguished relations with other countries.
The pavilion’s work team, in cooperation with the pavilion’s commercial partners from major Syrian companies in various sectors, organizes periodic business meetings with Arab and international delegations with the aim of developing trade and economic relations with global partners.
