Ambassador of Bahrain congratulates Mohamed bin Zayed on his election as UAE President

ABU DHABI, 17th May, 2022 (WAM) — Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah bin Ali bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the UAE, has congratulated His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on his election as UAE President.

In a statement, Sheikh Khalid said that His Highness Mohamed bin Zayed is the ideal successor to an exemplary predecessor, wishing him success in carrying the legacy laid by the Founding Fathers, noting to the trust bestowed upon him by the people of the Emirates.

He also praised His Highness’ political wisdom in establishing the values ​​of tolerance and peace, as well as his insightful vision in leading the UAE towards continued progress and prosperity, advancing its pioneering status on the regional and global scene.

The Bahraini Ambassador extended his sincere condolences on the passing of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed, his family and the Emirati people.

He lauded the virtues of the late Sheikh Khalifa and his key role in the UAE’s developmental drive, supporting the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Arab and Islamic causes, along with strengthening the historical partnership with the fraternal Kingdom of Bahrain and its security, stability and development process, noting to his lasting role in strengthening the bonds between the two countries and their peoples, following on the footsteps of the late Sheikh Zayed.

Sheikh Khalid expressed his deep appreciation to the historical UAE-Bahrain relations as an exemplary model of unity between Arab and Islamic countries based on values of mutual respect and understanding, affirming their march towards continued joint cooperation and political, economic integration for the benefit of the two countries and the world as whole.
