A pair of Bugatti Veyrons have been transformed through the French automaker’s La Maison Pur Sang restoration and certification program.

The two Veyrons, consisting of an original 16.4 Coupe and a Grand Sport, are both part of an expansive automobile collection in Dubai. The idea of restoring and updating the models came up three years ago between the owner and the Bugatti Dubai dealership. The duo then spent nine months at the car manufacturer’s home in Molsheim, France being overhauled.

For the Veyron 16.4 Coupe, the owner had the exterior changed from the original two-tone grey to a combination of Black Blue M and Blue M, one of the most recognizable color combinations of the hypercar. The process of refurbishing the car started with it being completely dismantled before all the components were inspected and restored as necessary. The interior was then overhauled with new Havanna leather.

As for the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport, it has been owned by the same individual since 2009 and was one of the very first Grand Sport models sold. The silver exterior finish was retained but the color of the cabin was changed from Silk to Magnolia.

After work was complete on the two cars, Bugatti gave them certifications from La Maison Pur Sang.

“I have cherished these two Bugatti models for many years, alongside the other hyper sports cars of Molsheim that are in our collection,” the owner said. “These two pioneering icons of performance, design and engineering are now well over a decade old, but their standing in the pantheon of automotive greats continues to soar. In my opinion, a Veyron demands to be kept in the best condition possible – it’s the only way to pay homage to such a groundbreaking Bugatti masterpiece.”
