DUBAI, 10th June, 2022 (WAM) — Omar Ali Salem Al Adidi, Secretary-General of the Council, today held a meeting with Mohammed Ahmed Al Kuwaiti, Director-General of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation and ensure the highest levels of security and preparedness at border crossing points in the UAE.
The meeting, held at Emirates Towers under the directives of H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Council for Border Crossing Points Security, was aimed at further enhancing cooperation between local and federal government agencies to maintain strong border security and ensure the highest levels of efficiency, in accordance with international standards and best practices.
During the meeting, the Dubai Council for Border Crossing Points Security showcased its latest efforts and initiatives to increase safety and protection at border crossing points, including the cutting-edge technology tools it has deployed. The Council also highlighted that it holds several training programmes to ensure the readiness of its teams.
